When roommate matching is available for your PNS Travels hosted trip, you can register without already having someone to share your room with. We'll take care of the matching process while you get ready for the adventure.

We don't expect two people to be exactly alike.

We focus on the things most likely to affect your shared-room experience.

What Makes a Good Roommate Match?

A Few Things to Know Before You Join

Roommate Matching is designed to help you share accommodations, not provide an assigned travel companion.

Your roommate does not have to attend your excursions with you.

She doesn't have to go to dinner with you.

She doesn't have to stay out as late as you do.

And she doesn't have to become your new best friend.

You both simply agree to communicate, compromise and respectfully share the space.

The Fun Part: Meet Your Roommate! 🎉

Around 45 days before departure, we'll officially introduce matched roommates.

This happens right around one of my favorite parts of the PNS hosted trip experience—our Virtual Meet & Greet.

You'll get to:

Meet your PNS hosts, meet your fellow travelers, meet your roommate, get more details about the trip, ask questions and start getting excited about the adventure ahead.

Bring your favorite drink. We’re making it a party. 🥂

After the Meet & Greet, you'll also receive access to the trip's WhatsApp group so the Travel Tribe can stay connected as departure approaches.

Before You Sign Up

Is a roommate guaranteed?
No. Roommate matching is based on participation and availability. If we're unable to identify an eligible roommate, we'll contact you to discuss the options available for your trip.

Can I choose my roommate?
No. PNS Travels makes the roommate assignment based on the available profiles.

Can I decline the match?
Roommate assignments are not subject to preference-based approval or decline. PNS Travels will review legitimate concerns involving safety, harassment, discrimination, accessibility or a significant discrepancy in profile information.

What if my roommate cancels?
We'll make a reasonable effort to identify another eligible roommate. If no replacement is available, the supplier may require you to pay an applicable single-occupancy difference. PNS Travels does not assume additional occupancy costs caused by another traveler's cancellation.

What if we don't get along during the trip?
Ordinary roommate concerns should first be discussed respectfully between roommates. Your PNS host can assist when appropriate. Separate accommodations are subject to availability and may result in additional costs.

Can someone stay overnight in our room?
No overnight guests are permitted in a roommate-matched room.
